Listened to Billy every morning when I was still working. Good DJ. Great radio voice and a natural easy laugh. As Fessa Hook would say "Billy had a good ear" for music. He knew what to listen for and what would be a hit. Billy was what a lot of us wished we could be, what you saw and heard was what you got. No phonyness with Billy, straight shooter. God bless.

I'm sure the surf will pull this comment, because there's no doubt that Rob Dee is a complete jerk who likes putting down people. Not only do you insult people, you call them names like, "Old Man" for no apparent reason. They may pull my comment for calling you a jerk, however, it fits. I don't understand people like you who find it a thrill to insult artists who provide music. If you don't like a song, just turn the dial because there are plenty of us who like listening to the songs that the Surf plays from all the groups and artists. Tell Terry to go write and perform an origional tune that is worthy. I`m tired of hearing 10 people`s rendition of some old song from the 50`s and 60`s. This beach stuff needs new origional songs that are worth listening to. Now some old dude is re-singing something that played out years ago and you people think it`s something great. What are U people thinking??? At least that dude from Coastline is trying to write and sing new stuff...at lease he was...have not heard from him lately.
