Is there an app that you could download onto your phone. If not that would really be nice to have so I can be listening to beach music while trucking up and down the interstate. * * * * * * From the Surf; we have an app you can download for free at TuneIn Radio

I have the same question as lordsparky7 - who is singing that version of Forever's As Far As I'll Go? I know it's not the Alabama version. I LOVE IT! I listen to this station all day at work......streaming on line!
Steve from TN 06-10-2012 04:40 am
Enjoyed reconnecting to "The Surf" this week while staying at Sunset Beach. I'm back home tonight wishing I was back at the beach listening live, but the internet stream is easing the transition. Thanks for the music!

Things may be a bit more lively in April. It is a good time to trvael to the beach. Not too crowded just yet. I have always been told by the hotel staff that September after Labor day is the best time to visit. Usually the weather is perfect and the worst of the crowds are gone.
Liked It can we Like 94.9 on Face Book? 06-06-2012 07:39 am

We don't!

When I was a youngster and would come to the beach, which was often, I listened to North Myrtle Beach. I really liked Bill Norman as the morning DJ in the early 70s. He had such a pleasing voice and always sounded happy. It's great to hear him on the Surf along with my other favorite DJ, Ted Bell. Guys, keep on playing those great songs!
