Several Sunday afternoons about 1:00 - 1:30 I've heard a reggae style up-tempo song with a VERY strong & catchy chorus. Wondered if you might take a stab at the name of the song & the group. Thanks,

I heard a song a few minutes ago and I think it had the words "I'd like to be crusing with you" in it. Sound like anything you can identify?
Thanks

A few weeks ago, I contacted you about a song I heard on your station but the name/artist weren't mentioned (I only heard about the last 1-1/2 to 2 minutes). It had an early 1960's sound to it, it would be a good shag song, and the lyrics I remember were something to the effect of "You accused me of something that I never done, you put me under the gun" (those were repeated a few times). I've been trying unsuccessfully to find out what that song was because I'd love to hear it again. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dana..It is Jumpin' The Gun by Ronnie Barnes

Tuned into thesurf this week to get myself psyched for my first SOS. Was just going to give a little listen, as the occasional "beach music" that I've heard at dances here in PA has always bored me. WOW !!!I have listened non-stop since I found you! What an amazing mix of music, covering decades and genres, all dance-able and upbeat....you even threw in 'Ol Blue Eyes a minute ago! 949thesurf is my only station now. Dancing in my cubicle all day long

Have fun at SOS!!..tHANKS FOR LISTENING!

94.9 The Surf has been my favorite beach music station for years! I have heard a song lately but haven't been able to catch the song title or artist...couple lyrics included shake it and southern soul. I hope you can identify this record ! Thanks bunches!

Dance Tonight by the Blackwater Rhythm & Blues Band...Great song and has been number 1 on the Top 20 Survey for 5 weeks!

Sexual Religion was the national shag song last year at the CBMA's by Rod Stewart. Still a favorite among all the shag dancers.

Sometime during the 4:00 hour on Saturday 5/30 you played an uptempo song where the chorus is, "I'm so happy . . . happy to be with you. So Happy" etc.. The surf plays the song frequently - who is the group and the name of the song?

Happy is by Pharrel Williams
