This is so great! Being the only one in the office at times, I turn this up, and have waves sounds in the back ground and pretend that Winston Salem is Myrtle Beach...what a way to get lost! :) I'm so glad I've found this link. Keep it going!

I've been listening to the Surf for a long time and loved it. Then early this year the Surf disappeared from the net.
Oh No! This can't be! I started to listen to some of those other beach stations, but it wasn't the same.
I'm glad that you are back again and streaming the beach music once more.
Keep up the good work and the beach music.

So glad you are back. I had just discovered you about a year before you went off. Those months off were long without The Surf. People here in Kansas City wonder that the music is that they here coming from my office. I get to think back to the Grand Strand and my days as a disc jockey upstate at WORD.

I was really thrilled to find you were broadcasting again! I missed you all so much, you are reminding me that it has been way too long since we have been to Myrtle Beach. I wish the oldies station here in Beaufort/Hilton Head would go back to the beach music they used to play.

So happy to have re-found you! Can finally play music at the office that everyone likes! Just an idea but is it possible to play some of the old Billy Smith Beach Parties once a week or so. If the recording exist of course.

can you put the name of the song you are playing on the stream also can you list the top 20 songs on your site?

* From the Surf; The listing of the top 20 songs each week will soon begin appearing on the website. We are taking a look at the possible listing of songs as they are played, but we have a few other projects to do first. Thank you so much for listening.

Love, love, LOVE The Surf, but would sure like to hear more current beach music and not so many "oldies" and slow songs! We need more "chair dancin'" music!!!
Joanne 06-13-2011 05:49 pm
I have been listening to the SURF for a long time now and love it...but and there is always a but, I don't care for the real country sounding DJ. I don't know his name but he belongs on a country station, not beach and oldies...I just turn it off when he is on...sorry, you asked. Other than that, I love the surf and don't ever leave us again!
